Intervista ai 120 days

1.) Yr album sounds as a natural prosecution of seventies space rock, kraut rock and early manchest new wave's scene. it is a conscious musical position ar it all came natural?
We have been listening to a lot of krautmusic like Can, Cluster, Neu! and Kraftwerk the last few years and just recently started going out dancing too good house/techno music.
All of our songs are created by all four of us jamming together. We do that almost every day and pick some of the good stuff out for songs. Some has to be 10 minutes, others 3, as long as it's good.
It is a concious choise to make good danceable music, the rest is all natural.

2.) In front of a very tuff musical offer comes some deep discerning for melodies ? where does it come from?
Mostly out of jams, but we do all play a lot alone as well and the good stuff we make alone sometimes finds it way into the jams/songs.

3.) which are your most trackable influences ? have you a common musical backgrounds?
I'm sure that if you listen close enough you can find traces from a lot. Kraftwerk, Can, Suicice, Velvet underground, Neu!, The Stooges.
We have a strong common ground and listen to a lot of the same stuff, but walk in different directions as well. It stretches from Arthur Russel -->Compay Segundo--> Booka Shade --> Bjork

4.) which is the message of the album?
The album itself is supposed to be a musical journey, but all of the songs have their own messages. Some say dance, some say listen. It's up to the listener to find out.

5.) Has Norway a musical scene you belong to ? can you tell something about it ?
We have been playing in Norway for about 4 years now withour really feeling that we belonged to any stage. But the last year things have started to change. We've got good bands playing like Serene Maneesh, Pirate love, apple falls.
I'm sure it has been good stuff around these last years as well, but I've been more occupied doing my own stuff. I know that good electronic acts like Lindstrom and Mental Overdrive has been doing great things.
